I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for many years before changing career paths. After being diagnosed with lymphedema in 2012, I discovered how crucial regular manual lymph drainage is to my overall lymphedema management plan. I felt so strongly about its benefits to those dealing with lymphedema that I decided to pursue lymphedema therapy as a career. For the first stop on this path, I attended the Western North Carolina School of Massage in Asheville, where I fell in love with the ability of massage to calm the body as well as the mind. I graduated and received my license in February of 2016. The next step toward my goal led me to The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, where I received my certification for lymphedema therapy.
